for all you people who want to overhaul the whole offense, need to stop and take a rest...and listen

WE LOST TO THE #2 TEAM IN AMERICA (BY 3 POINTS) WITH ONE OF THE BEST QBS IN AMERICA

we had chances and missed oppourtunities, but thats football.

this is not 5 paraghraph assesment on the team, its a message to all fans...saying.....

we are the fans...they are the coaches and players.

they are the best at what they do.

so chill out and lets see how things go.

its annoying going around here reading about who needs the ball and who shouldnt play

Ditto.

We still have 9 games to go. 2 years ago we were in the drivers seat with an opportunity to play for a national title if we wouldn't have lost to Michigan..........even though we lost to Wisconsin earlier in the season. Were going to be fine, a lot of teams will lose this year.

I do agree, but keep in mind that we "lost" to the #2 team. Which means we are no better than #3. Now that doesnt make me go running around biting things and screaming, but it means that you need to make changes and get better. That is all that everyone is saying. There are some radicals that sound ridiculous, but for the most part, people are bringing up very good points. Texas is much better than I thought they were. I do not feel bad in losing to them at all. However, we had no business losing that game. Cant blame people for being a tad upset. Ok I am gonna go back to biting things and screaming now. See ya'll next weekend when I feel better

Agreed. Although we definitely need a new offensive coordinator, better play calling, better players, a better schedule, and to give Teddy the ball on every play.

Hey, that's just what we do here. If you want to be OK with missed opportunities, fine, but I think we can/should have played/coached better.

I am the perfect fan, now all I ask is to be the perfect team. :)

The regulars here have been pretty calm, I believe. Most of the hysterical stuff seems to come from guys with 15 posts and a line of rubies that Tibor would envy. :tongue2:

Mods and admins, do you think we could add some kind of option where if you accumulate X amount of negative rep in say, 48 hours, that you get auto-banned for a week? That could be fun.

Oh yeah, let me add the obligatory: "What's Tressel thinking with two QBs? Hello? Does anyone remember the Jackson/Germaine era? And NO MORE SOFT ZONE! Blitz Carp and Hawk on every down!" :tongue2:

Until we get those things Tim, are you going to continue to support the Buckeyes or look elsewhere for a team that supports your specific needs. Because it could be quite a while if we run the rest of the schedule here. And it probably won't be that fun for you if all of your wishes but the last don't happen for a long while like most insiders suspect. I mean they couldn't get rid of Cooper for what seems a life time. You could really get a lot of gray hairs by then, that's why I'm curious if your going to keep supporting the team or not.

Here's a little optimistic scenario. The chances of anyone being undefeated at the end of the regular season are always pretty slim and the teams that lose early generally rise to the top. We have lost a close game and everyone realizes that it is at least partially due to the quarterback situation. Miami Ohio may or may not be a good team this year, we think they are, but let's ignore that game right now for the purposes of this discussion.

Let's say that the QB situation settles in and our offense starts producing like it did in the last two games of last year. Let's say that we bury Iowa, Penn State and Minnesota and the rest of our schedule. Let's say that TSUN regroups and comes into Ann Arbor with only one loss.

Now let's say that we bury TSUN at Ann Arbor exactly like we did here last year.

I realize that there are a lot of "what ifs" in that chain of logic but it is exactly what I think is gonna happen. So, yeah, let's take a breath and see what happens the next few weeks. This season can still be one hell of a lot of fun.

and just remeber..we did go 8-4 last season, so 10-2 or 11-1 is a fantastic improvement over last season..

i hope we do make it to the NC, but if we dont, im still gona be happy with a 10-2 season..LETS GO BUCKS!

If we win out we will, at the very least, go to a BCS game. That means 3 BCS games in 5 years (and possibly a 3-0 record), which is quite impressive.

By the way, great site. I have been a long time Bucknuts reader (never posted) and I always wondered where all the "intellect" disappeared to. This place is a good escape from the retardedness that sometimes infects Bucknuts.
