Can anyone tell me how long the fantasy draft will last?

I have about 3 hours I know I can be there, but can someone from the other league tell me how long it will take? Also, can you make some picks yourself, and then let the computer pick the rest if you have to leave?

Any info would be appreciated.

I have only done a handfull of live drafts and I think that they are ususally an hour or so, of course it depends on the number of teams in the league. You can let the computer make your picks for you if you have to leave. I had to do that with the last one we just had the first BP league. I think I made my first three picks. It will pick them by the order you rank your players so It's a good idea to go in and rank them ahead of time if you don't like the order they have them ranked.

BP 1 took maybe 1:15, give or take a few minutes. It was quite fast.

how did you do in the draft?

The Sr. pool seemed to have their act together... most folks took a few seconds per pick instead of the full 1.5 min.

The draft took about 1:25. Went smooth for the most part, although Tibs usually took a good minute-plus to pick.

It was a good draft...I think everyone got some good players, and it didn't take too awful long. Should be a good season.

No, it was a horrible draft. Of course, that's because I'm an idiot and forgot about the draft, plus I didn't rank any players after about the 5th one or so, so my team isn't all it could be. Damn it.

As there are injuries, pick up the replacements to the starters... you'll be fine.

Last year I think half my original team was dumped due to injuries...
