Calling out Penn State...

What about the glamour program of the SEC? Charleston Southern, Troy, FIU, and FSU for a OOC schedule. Congrats on having a tougher conference than the Big 10, but I dont see your conference and the best team in your conference (Florida) really stepping it up.

NextB - that was my point. Florida is getting crushed by the national media for having a significantly weaker schedule than last year.

I don't really hear any other media outlets (keeping in mind - i don't read the Ohio papers) ripping PSU for something equally soft. This wasn't me pissing on the Big 10.

Actually, I've heard quite a bit of chatter about this on ESPN when profiling PSU or the B10. It's well deserved as their schedule is an embarrassment.

Penn State isn't relevant enough for people to care. The two times this decade they weren't irrelevant, 2005 & 2008, also coincided with Ohio State having major personnel issues at QB & OL. Those PSU teams were underwhelming in bowls as well.

I wouldn't dog Penn State right now. They opened with the same level of team we will be playing twice this year, Toledo and New Mexico State and they're one of only two Big 10 teams that played well yesterday.

BTW: PSU in bowls 26 - 13 -2, OSU 18 - 22
