Californication Season 4 Guest Cast is Taking Shape

Little time was wasted in the green-lighting season 4 of Californication after Showtime reported recording-breaking ratings of the season 3 premier. Soon after the finale of the third season producers went stright to work in casting the latest edition of the ever-interesting cast of this risqu? and brutally honest show.

Season 3 was riddled with a staggering amount of guest cameos, including Embeth Davidz, Diane Farr and a hilarious arc featuring Rick Springfield. Springfeild played himself as an aging pop-star looking to re-ignite his career.

So far the cast for season 4 includes the usual suspects ? Duchovny, McElhone, Handler, and Madelina Zima playing the ever mischevious Mia. This past week other names have been thrown around the Californication arena including:

Rob Lowe (Brothers and Sisters) ? According to Television Blend, it looks like Lowe will be playing the part of Eddie Nero ? an actor who is enamored with the idea of playing Hank Moody's character in the adaptation of F**king and Punching. The physical resemblance is there, as is the sleazy, ?I've always got a sex scandal about me? vibe.

Michael Ealy (Sleeper Cell) ? With Hank in as much trouble as he is, it'll be hard to tell which roles are going to be created. Sources report that Ealy will be the love interest for Karen (McElhone) for the season.

Of course, what would Californcation be without a lineup of women for Hank to get in trouble with? So far:

Carla Gugino (Watchmen, Night at the Museum) ? After Hank finally gets collared for his indiscretions with Mia, he'll be needing some excellent representation. According to Showtime, Gugino will play his lawyer.

Addison Timlin (Cashmere Mafia) ? Slated to play Mia in the F**king and Punching adaptation, this Mia look-alike will undoubtedly give challenge to the professionalism of Lowe's character.
Zoe Kravitz: Looks like the daughter of musician Lenny Kravits and Lisa Bennet will be getting a six-episode arc. This will be her first noteable television appearance

I just started watching this show over the weekend after hearing good things. I'm through the first 10 episodes of Season 1 (of 12) and am LOVING it so far. Hank Moody is my hero, and to think I hated David Duchovney(sp) before lol
