Took a big step in that direction by finally getting Brady Cherry off the field. Hate to dump on the guy but he’s fielding about .850 over his career. Much better defensively with West at SS and Foppe at 2B. We’re just gonna hafta deal with Pohls defensive issues at 3B.
Noticed Beals is recruiting A LOT more middle infielders lately. That’s a big shift in strategy from the glut of corner outfield/ 1B types in years past. Erwin, Ernst, Dezenzo, Fisher, and Karaffa are all middle infield commits in the 18 and 19 classes. I’m not sure he’s recruited that many in his previous 7 classes combined...seriously
