I wasn't paying attention, I'm sure it was stuffed tightly in the pocket of the damn ref who easily threw it to take away Cal's TD earlier.

Damn shame it has to happen like that...Cal's offense sucks but they should still be in this game.

As long as Oregon St. keeps winning though, USC won't even win the PAC10...

Didn't see the replay, but no sympathy given the silly roughing call that negated an SC interception.

What did you think about USC's first TD not being officially reviewed?

It looked like that should have been changed to an incompletion to me.

I was in the stadium so I haven't seen the game on tv, but I was glad that SC rushed the PAT team out. There was some confusion amongst the Cal coaches, and it definitely seems like they would've challenged it but never did.

No excuse for the consistently awful pac-10 refs to not review that. It only took one replay to realize it was at best a sketchy catch, if not a drop. But then we'd expect nothing better from them.

You hate to see reffing play such a huge role in the outcome.

+7 pts on a bobbled TD catch (by college rules), -7 pts on a completely inexcusable penalty.

That 4th quarter TD should have been to tie the game, not put it away.

So Cal gets to keep the FG on the Cushing roughing?

I didn't see the game, so I was unaware that was where the FG came from. Either way, there's little question that the very suspect officiating drastically changed the complexion of the game.

Take out the roughing-induced FG, and now Cal has 2 min to pick up a FG.

Only if we also miss the FG that we would've kicked after the incomplete to Turner
Only if you also avoid the invisible ninja blitz
