New Orleans food leans more Creole than Cajun.
Lafayette region is much more Cajun.

then down in the Bayou Region where I'm from is a near perfect mixture of the two.
I thought about that after I wrote it but I figured that most people here don't know the difference.

Just to clarify, creole food is just cajun food with tomatoes and okra or any other African based ingredient thrown in it
