2026 CA WR Kayden Dixon-Wyatt (USC Signee)

Birm says his concern level is at around a 3/4 out of 10.

Looks like the guy who was making the claim that a flip was coming is backtracking already as well. Claims he never said it was going to happen but was just saying USC has a better chance than Oregon for a flip.

Per 11w poster:
Done…Gorney was able to interview KDW after the game. We’re good. Although he did take a phone call from Lincoln Riley, he says the rumors were his teammates committed to USC pushing for the flip. And I assume that’s how the rumors started to flow out to other support staff at Mater Dei (who I assume are the “sources”).

The four-star receiver from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei, when asked if his recruitment was basically done, said, “I feel like that.” With under two weeks until National Signing Day, Ohio State looks to have Dixon-Wyatt locked up.
“It’s looking like Ohio State,” Dixon-Wyatt said when asked what the days look like before signing day. “Get to go into that next chapter, me and my boy Chris (Henry Jr.). Get to compete at the next level and really show the world what we’re about.”
“It was a bunch of teammates,” Dixon-Wyatt said. “It was most of my teammates. They were pushing for me. I got to talk to the head coach (Lincoln Riley), I got on the phone with him and had a good conversation but my friends do what they do.
“At the end of the day, Ohio State.” “Coach Hartline is one of the best wide receiver coaches ever at the position so being under him, being able to compete at the highest level, No. 1 team in the country, is something special for me,” Dixon-Wyatt said.

Back to the old question - would you rather sit on the pine at a big school, or get on the field early with a lesser light? Mater Dei is just a stone's throw from USC campus. If you do gotta do this, just make sure you get your bag before USC's gotta pay out Riley.....

Yeah Riley getting the number 1 class after not even being to playoffs despite being there for years is wild

USC isn't really a lesser light though. They can also show off their NfL WRs past and present as well, a star studded alumni base and a bunch of connections for a Cali kid going to a USC feeder school.

It helps when you have 40 recruits...
And that too

Their receiver history, especially since Hartline took over, isn't in the same galaxy as ours. If you can start for Hartline, you can start in the NFL. That is still a big advantage for us
