2026 CA WR Chris Henry Jr. ???

Well yeah....that's what I said. The cupboard isn't exactly bare in any case.

What I'm saying is, if there is one coach in America who can pull off such a change, it's Ryan freakin Day.

I agree. My point is that we are on the edge of seeing him have to make that change.

People acting like this is no big deal are way off base imo. Day's (up until now) single biggest strategic advantage just took a hit. That is a big deal.

Per 11w poster:
Birm said he was told tonight if Ohio State misses on Chris Henry Jr., they will hit a couple home runs in the portal. I love the sound of that.

I’m guessing if CHJ signs, it’ll just be one portal addition. If he doesn’t sign, opens the door for two portal additions

. Birm said Julian Sayin is expected to reach out to Chris Henry Jr. via phone call.
Let's get back on topic to CHjr. Ill create a thread in the rumors section on names being thrown out. And if you all want to continue your banter over there, by all means have at it

Sorry, the elite WR play has carried over into the NFL far more than the elite QB play has.

Day's offense has been lethal since he took over when he's had his Olave, MHJr, J Smith beast out there. It's a symbiotic relationship, neither can do it without the other but let's not act like this wouldn't be a major blow.

No it won't break what Day is doing but no one is going to transfer in and just make you forget the talent this kid has. I'm sure you could go back to JJ's thread and find similar bravado when the idea he might flip came up. Yeah, we would have gotten another WR but we wouldn't have had J Smith.

From everything I have read, this kid is in that kind of talent stratosphere.
Yeah I should certainly take a step back. Certainly the WRs have had an impact here and thankfully the system, the QB development and the skill at WR has all complemented each other.

I’ve seen some of Chris and I don’t think he’s the same impact guy like JJ Smith but I don’t think he’s far off either. We’ll never see someone like JJ again. What makes JJ so good is he’s tall but not too tall if that makes sense. Jeremiah is tall enough to be big problem over top but he’s not too tall where he loses quickness in short area.

Any rate, I hope Chris comes here but if he doesn’t I fully expect 1-2 kids in the portal which Birm confirmed today btw.

This team is different. Even the parents are involved and seem to be a team themselves.

With Oregon also having a coordinator change I hope Chris weighs that programs go through these changes. It’s about the surrounding system and no one has what OSU has frankly.
