If we lose Henry to Oregon and their Nike money, if I’m OSU I open up negotiations the next time the Nike contract is up for renewal.

To do what? OSU nor any Nike school is leaving. Where do you think they'd go, Puma, Asics? The only negotiation OSU and Nike would have is giving OSU more money

Agreed. We all knew Hartline would. We also knew once he did, that class would take a hit and some WRs might leave. The Portal will be used to fill those holes.

We will hire someone good.

That said, I also am confused that Nike gives Oregon money for NIL. We’re essentially paying Nike to compete against us (same as other programs too).

Hopefully Bailey moves to WR coach and then Chip comes back.

Guys already in the program are far less likely to leave over a coach then guys committed. Cause they know the program made friends have goals. JJ now knows what Ryan Day is about what Kennaan baily is about.

Jeremiah has the most accurate QB in the country throwing to him in a offense that's proven to be very efficient, him leaving at this point literally makes zero sense. Not gonna stop the doom sayers from pushing the idea though.
