BYu will be a tough battle(He’s LDS)
Hopefully we can still prevail, we have overcome that for other LDS recruits (see Togiai). It is a tough pull and they also may take their mission anyways.

I don't think the mission affects their football development, because they're not going on the mission and lifting or training. They could be in say, Mexico, or El Salvador, or even just in America spreading LDS gospel there's not a weight room or dietary restrictions. They're there to help, no one sees them as an athlete, just the kid helping do XYZ. I don't think it helps or hurtsAnyone notice the religious pull of BY? Kinda like that of ND back in the day. Recollect most/all of the Cincy kids at parochial schools in a pipeline to ND. Heck, even a HS coach went to ND. Does/has anyone tracked how the two year mission impacted these kids? Certainly a bit more mature, maybe a bit more ripped/developed?
