2027 CA DL Kasi Currie (Texas Verbal)

For some reason, didn't view it that way, but am slowly coming into agreement. The pundits can predict, and will also do so, but NIL can change the course of a recruitment. While recruits will say the correct things, underneath it all, hard negotiations take place. And what seems like a great offer, may turn into a 'floor' of negotiations as time progresses.

Greg Biggins stated that we are still in contact with Kasi Currie and that this will be one to monitor down the stretch. I have to imagine that if Texas loses two more games and Sark is gone we will really have a shot there, but I would assume Texas has a great NIL package for him.

Greg Biggins said Fakatou and Currie have grown very close since Fakatou transferred to Sierra Canyon, LJ stopped by the school last week to see Fakatou and also let Currie know there’s a spot for him still in the class.
If he makes it up for one of our home games in November I’d put the flip probability at a high percentage. His heart was always with Ohio State, we just need to be more competitive with whatever Texas is offering him.
