Give the kid a break. I mean it is early in his sophomore year and you are talking about him playing in the NBA already. He has plenty of time to improve his game. In fact, he is already working on his outside shot to better his all around game. He is doing what Holtmann wants him to do and he will get much better with time.Zed is going to end up going the path of Jared Sullinger. He's a beast in the paint but will have to develop a shot in order to compete with guys bigger and more athletic than him or if he has plans of playing in the league.
Thats what I was saying. Thats the way Sulinger had to develop also.Give the kid a break. I mean it is early in his sophomore year and you are talking about him playing in the NBA already. I'd be ecstatic with 12 and 8. His minutes will obviously rise considerably (assuming we don't pick up a big transfer), but his game is limited to back to the basket and doesn't pass all that well out of the post.Zed needs to be a 15 & 10 guy next year. That's a lot to ask but it falls on him until the new guys figure the BiG out.
You aren't wrong but hell have to get better real fastI'd be ecstatic with 12 and 8. His minutes will obviously rise considerably (assuming we don't pick up a big transfer), but his game is limited to back to the basket and doesn't pass all that well out of the post.
