For the fifth time in eight NFL seasons, Jets center Nick Mangold is headed to the Pro Bowl.

Mangold will replace Seahawks center Max Unger on the Pro Bowl roster, the Jets announced on Sunday night.

Nick Mangold treats Mike Mitchell to back body drop in Steelers-Jets

When Steelers safety Mike Mitchell tried to jump over the line of scrimmage to force a fumble when the Jets were in victory formation for their 20-13 upset, New York center Nick Mangold apparently didn't appreciate the aggression.

After the game, Mangold called Mitchell's actions "a dirty play."

#Teens have been wild, but it might be the height of #teen stupidity to try to nick a car from Nick Mangold's mansion.

And yet, that's apparently what two teens and three juveniles attempted in the early morning hours of August 23rd.

From our nation's site of record,

Here's how it went down ... cops say Nick was awakened early Sunday morning at his Chatham, NJ home when his car alarm started blaring. Nick ran to his garage and found the door was open ... so he immediately dialed 911.

Cops rushed to the 'hood and tracked down 5 suspects, just one mile from Mangold's crib. An 18 and a 19-year-old were arrested, along with 3 juveniles -- and the J-E-T-S center might have hit the jackpot with that phone call.

We're told there's been a string of more than 40 car burglaries in the area recently!

Mangold is down and looks to have a head injury/concussion.

walking off but they showed his eyes when he came up from laying on the ground, I think he was out cold for a minute.
