C Kaleb "Bully" Wesson ('18 All B1G Freshman, '19 Honorable Mention All B1G, '20 2nd Team All B1G)

Found this post interesting on another site

He is what he is. Two years ago Coach could barely put him in the two NCAA Tournament games because he was so overweight and could not guard anyone outside 5 feet and also could not get up and down the court. He has made huge strides, but all of the lost weight and his being used more outside to allow Kyle Young to roam inside is a work in progress.

As far as "dominating", who on OSU's team has dominated anyone that is a really strong player on the other team? If there is a player it is Kaleb. That is the problem. If Kaleb does not carry the team, who else can? There is no one to create now that DJ is gone. A lot gets put on Kaleb's shoulder to create offense.

To answer your question though here are some examples of Kaleb having strong games against good Bigs:

* PSU at Home win this year against Mike Watkins - 28 points, 10 Rebounds

* PSU on the road this year in loss - 19 points on 7 of 13 shooting

* Kent State, physical team with a physical big - 17 points

* WVU with their physical front - 17 points, 9 rebounds

* Indiana, Trayce Jackson-Davis - 15 points, 11 Rebounds

* Maryland and Jaylen Smith - 15 points, 9 rebounds

* Wisconsin and Reuvers - 22 points, 13 rebounds

* Michigan and Teske - 23 points and 12 rebounds

* Iowa last year against Garza - 18 points, 11 rebounds

This list could get a lot longer if we want to go to prior years

Kaleb has scored in double figures 23 of 26 games, yet only averages 9.8 shots per game. Garza for comparison sake is averaging 16.4 shots per game. OSU uses Kaleb to not just score, but also to set picks and to create offense for others.

Kaleb is far from a superstar, and as said has a lot to still work on in his game and continuing to get in better shape and add some of his strength back.

Kaleb is far from being one of the top 10 problems on this current team.
