Might be more to it than that, but the timing makes it feel like the Bradshaw addition pushed Felix away. Bummer to put it mildly for me, Felix was fun to watch and has a lot of upside. Love or hate the portal, it is turning into pro sports where each year I don't even recognize most of my team to start the year.

I don't think there's just one reason, but my guess is NIL is reason #1. Bradshaw may have made him rethink it, but without that NIL element I don't think he would have left. There were rumors he was transferring before he announced his return.

Don't necessarily disagree there, but I feel like if Bradshaw doesn't transfer, then Felix doesn't move. Whether that's because he gets less NIL due to Bradshaw, or playing time. But it's whatever now, he's gone and we move forward.

Diebler clearly wants more mobile stretch-5s. Okpara's range is about 6 feet. I'm pretty sure that has more to do with it than NIL, especially once they found a guy who clearly fits that role better.

I would agree that Diebler wants guys who shoot the 3 at all 5 positions. Felix was willing to try but clearly his comfort level was not out there.

I think it’s past the point of no return. We are stuck with this. Even if it’s common sense that tampering was 100% likely it’s still hard to have concrete proof a lot of the time.

The Dispatch has an article today where Okpara explains his reasons for leaving OSU. Basically, he claims he changed his mind because of his teammates (some combination of Middleton, Key and/or Gayle) transferring after he announced his decision to return. Reading between the lines, he apparently doesn't believe OSU will have a very good team next season and didn't want to deal with continued struggles after going through 2 tough years already.

Hmm. Well tbh, nobody can be shocked with all that after the coaching change. It's disappointing on this one, but we're going to be looking at a very different roster next year and we'll just have to roll with the punches.
