BW3's Food: Good or Bad?

BW3's Food: Good or Bad?

They're building a new BW3's on the corner of Lane and High in Columbus and it looks like it's going to be massive and have a balcony-porch type thing that hangs above the sidewalk. It seems like it's going to be a pretty badass place to hangout before/during a game.

I like their wings fine, but I've never been a picky eater.

I say overall the food is bad.

The wing sauces they have are better than anyone else in town. Their wings are too small. More like pigeon wings than chicken wings. Roosters has a much better product (and they are growing and franchising out) meat wise, but not so much on the sauce side of things.

The rest of the BWs food just isn't all that good. It sounds good, and if done right, it should be very good, but it isn't. Their food is also very expensive for what you get. Long gone are the 10 cent wing nights. Still, for what you pay for a burger and all the sides, you can go to Thurmans for the same price and you will get better food in larger quantities.

You're shitting me?

Was it part of a bigger building that has since been torn down b/c that's not big enough to have been a department store.

The Plaza Shopping Center was the place to go before the indoor mall revolution came to Lancaster. That strip had Godfather's Pizza, Sears, Rite Rug, Woolworth's, Big Bear, JC Penney, and another store or two. The building that BW3s is in was part of the JC Penney store back then.

It's funny seeing what a shit hole the Plaza has become, now. I like that the Army Recruiting Center is in the same strip mall as the Liquor Store and a Waterbeds & Stuff.

Carnival Foods ... Ugh.

You know a supermarket is bad when their TV commercial is one of those 'shot on VHS cassette' handi-cam deals with piss poor sound, and the "spontaneous happy customer endorsement" is with some schmoe wearing a deer hunting jacket, has no teeth, a skullet, and his grocery cart is full of canned veggies.

Kind of like Pick n' Save in Zanesville.
