Guys, OSU's offense does suck - and bumbling might not be strong enough a word. OSU might benefit from a new OC. Corso isn't correct, as the talent OSU is getting is just fine.
ESPN guys, as we all know, are paid to make overstatements. Since OSU sucks this bad this year, we're going to hear about it. Fuel to the fire in an already over-reactionary town. Tressel shouldn't "fall from grace" simply on account of this season. If he fails to correct whatever the problem is, then yes, he should fall from grace. But, to say that he's a bad coach (like some caller to 1460) said seems a bit extreme. It's a bad year. We have to deal with it. But, lets not go calling for a friggin National Championship calibur coach's head because OSU has lost 3 games. It's absurd. I don't like it any better than anyone else, but come on....
The douchebags getting the air time are the same douchebags that thought McMullen should have started over Krenzel when Craig was struggeling a bit (though OSU was still winning) I never could understand how some 1460 caller could say McMullen was the better QB when all us fans saw of Scott was a handful of mop up passes (that is, before Krenzel got injured). You just don't go replacing QB's willy-nilly. And you don't go firing a head coach because a team sucks one year (And who knows, if OSU wins out, a 3 loss season is below some people's pre-season prediction of 4 (whcih presumeably was something we were prepared to deal with)) - but has been lights out the preceeding two. If OSU sucks again next year, all bets are off.
