Bulls 06/07 season thread

It's really no different. Well, except they have not won a thing. If they ever do, the wagon will fill like last years Buckeye bandwagon.

I remember going to Cavs games to see Edgar Jones , that's how pathetic they were.

Hey, at least we're still Raider fans and I'm not sure they can get much worse.
yeah but I'm 1 bad draft away from changing to a good team that just drafted a Buckeye......any Buckeye.

It's easier to take the high road after six NBA titles. :wink2:

I'm going to doubt that there's even close to as many bandwagon Cavs' fans with you in Chicago as there were bandwagon Bulls' fans in Columbus.

Undoubtedly, Columbus was a Bulls town throughout the 90s - which of course, proximity-wise, was silly. It wasn't close and it wasn't pretty. I can think of maybe 3 Cavs fans I knew during that time period.

Of course not - there's no comparison. But just like everywhere else, Chicago had it's share of Lakers and Celtics fans in the 80's.

It's funny that the Nets started to get calls after my Bulls hating rant last night. :p

I remember going to a Cavs game back when Robert Parrish was a Celtic. Noted I follow the Cavs a lot more with Lebron than I did before, but it's more of not caring much about the NBA and now caring about it. I did enjoy watching Jordan back in the day so I guess I was one of those bandwagon Bulls fans too. Now I can't stand them.

Since when does proximity decide who you're allowed to root for?

Well i'm sad to see them lose homecourt, but to tell you the truth, I think with the Bulls Style of play, they have just as good of a shot vs. a Miami and Detroit as they would with NJ and Toronto.

I'm more upset and Curry's buzzer beating tip-in ruining the bulls shot at Oden, more or less.

You're right. It wasn't at all strange that a majority of NBA fans in Columbus loved the Chicago Bulls. It had nothing to do with bandwagon jumping. It was all about the logo and colors.

[Riley-ref-rant] Well, if one referee hadn't decided to take Shaq out of the game, and if his size 22 feet weren't stuck inside the circle on a couple of blocking fouls, we might have only lost game two by 10 points. We're the World champs, and we get no respect from the referees. Waaaahhh !!![/Riley-ref-rant]

Why so you can watch the Bulls destroy the Cavaliers fans hopes of making a NBA Final again??

I like the Cavs matchup with the Bulls better than the Pistons or Heat, although the Heat have been playing so poorly of late that I think it would be the easiest matchup. A Cavs/Bulls series would be rough, but I like the Cavs chances now that they have the superstar and the Bulls have the good team. Lets see how the Bulls look down in Miami. If they can pull the sweep I'll be impressed.

Bulls Cavs would make for a great conference final series. Hopefully the Bulls can get one game in Miami and they dont end up doing what they did two years ago.
