Bukipower emotionally speculates based on fandom focus on OTs

One of my favorite things about the internet is when some random guy knows more about things like recruiting than the guy(s) paid in the millions to actually DO the recruiting. I mean, I totally believe that the OSU coaching staff didn't bother to look at any O Linemen until after Carman made his decision. It's not like Urban and his staff have a track record of knowing what they're doing when it comes to talent acquisition.

Wake up, people!

Indeed. As we all know, in the game of recruiting the only reason you might not get a kid to commit and enroll at your school is coaching malfeasance. For example, if Walker ends up at PSU it's not because he decided that that was the better fit for him, it's that Urban and company didn't take O-Line recruiting seriously enough... well... until it was too late.

Well hey, we all know Urban is "The Closer", but maybe he could use a little help from the peanut gallery when it comes to "opening."

In fact, I bet we know a few folks who could arrange a high end happy hour to share some trade secrets.

He didn't call me. Heartbroken. Could have shared my keen insights, but believe it or not, Meyer never called.

Normally I agree except I give you case in point Tim Beck. But proceed.
