There can't be more than 500 in the stands. Fredoites are constantly mocking our hockey attendance, yet we apparently get more in the stands for a hockey game than they do for a football game.

What's their excuse? It's not like it's Thursday night, and their students are at the bars watching Thee Ohio State University's basketball game.

How is it that Miami has a 'Cradle of Coaches' display with:

Red Blaik
Weeb Ewbank
Paul Brown
Ara Parseghian
Paul Dietzel
Bo Schembechler
John Pont
Carmen Cozza

But not the guy that coached there from 1949-50, before moving on to tOSU. The Miami student acting as ESPNU reporter said that all of the guys won a national coach of the year honor, either college or pro.

Since Woody won those on multiple occasions, his absence there is baffling. It was established through a gift by Miami alumni Bob and Marian Kurz (sp?).

I think it's actual Fredo alumni. Otherwise, it could be construed as a backhanded slap at The Flagship since they also left out Ohio State alum and NFL hall of famer Sid Gillman.

At last count, more than 100 Miami graduates were active in coaching or administrative work in the professional and collegiate levels. More than 30 of the men and women in the collegiate ranks are presently head coaches. Over the past 63 years, 19 collegiate and professional coaches with Miami roots have stood atop their respective professions as National Coaches of the Year. . .

Woody's degrees were from Denison and Ohio State.

Tressel's are from Baldwin-Wallace and Akron.

Red Blaik never received a Fredo degree. He transferred to the Military Academy after his sophomore year.

Oh my God...is Miami fucking horrible. I mean Buffalo is more resembling their early entries in the MAC this year, and they skull-stomped Fredo for most of this game. Awful.
