Buckeyes you had class with at OSU

I had a history class with Bob Maggs the first quarter of my freshman year, and then never had another football player in any of my classes. I used to see Keith Byars around here and there and saw Pepper Johnson once at a basketball game.

Most interestingly, I used to run into Chris Spielman all the time at the Ohio Union video game room. We both liked to play this Pro Wrestling game called "Mat Mania", which was only slightly more ridiculous than the real thing. Sometimes I would come in and Spielman would be playing and I'd have to wait for him, and other times he'd have to wait for me. Eventually I got so good at it that I could play indefinitely. I remember one time Spielman was standing there waiting to play and getting more and more restless. I have to admit I was a little intimidated, so after a while I just turned the game over to him. I think it was a good move.

Clark Kellogg in American History. We had these cinema style seats in class and dude had to put his feet and legs over them into the next row. Clark would sit in one seat down from me, and we would talk about the class, football, the weather, girls in class etc. Unlike some of the other jocks I had in class Clark was/is no dummy. I remember him getting no less than a "B" on any assignment. Ran into him years later and Disney World and was actually surprised that he remembered me.

That was Reggie Germany.
True about Germany.. but Rambo too (or I thought it was Rambo)... cuz Cooper got clipped for not ony having ONE major player with 0.00 but TWO... and a bowl game on the horizon

Always loved Lou Holtz's comment... to a player who had all Fs and one D -- "son, your problem is, you're spending all your time on one subject"
