Hating the environment since 1994
    • Thought this would be a fun topic to toss around.

    I was in Russian 135 recitation (about 20 people) with Shawn Springs and Eric Gohlstin. Both really good guys. Shawn was actually really smart and participated a lot in class. Very friendly and talked to everybody. He came to class one day with a wife beater on and was the most "cut" person I'd ever seen. Guy had muscles in places I didn't even know existed.

    My dad was friends with Jim Stillwagon while at OSU. They used to play basketball everyday on south campus and lived in the same dorm.

    My dad said Nick Roman was the biggest prick he ever met.

    I'm sure there's some other guys I had class with but don't remember.
     
    Pepe Pearson in Psych class. Not really the same thing, but I did seem to always have a break at the same time as Stanley Jackson and David Boston, because they were always at The Ohio Union at the same time I was.

    Accounting with Jesse Kline. He looked small on tv next to the other players, but he was absolutely not a small guy. Another accounting class with Tommy Rowlands, the All-American wrestler. A business class with Sean Connolly. Some other class (geography, maybe) with Scott McMullen.

    I had Keith Byers in several of my class never talked to him. Sat next to Art Schliester for an entire quarter, he was an OK guy. Bill Roberts was in my classes.

    I also remember Brad Sellers being taller than the OSU buses. No shit, you could see his head over the bus!

    Classes

    I had a communication class with Juhn Lumpkin and Kevin Griffin. Both good guys. I lived in the towers in 95, I was in a quad with Percy King. Olando Pace was up there alot. That is a BIG man. The stories I have about those two.

    You're right about that! Shawn was my "locker mate" and he along with Joey Galloway and probably Alonzo Spellman were 'ripped' beyond belief. Alonzo takes the cake hands down for size and being ripped! Dude had striations in his ass! LOL!

    Shane Olivea used to room with my friends in Morrill. He would take us out to the Spot (and after it closed, to Alcatraz) and hook us up with cheap ($1-2) pitchers well before any of us were 21. Great guy, its awesome that he is doing well for the Chargers.

    I had English 110 with Ryan Hamby and Andre Tyree, then History 151 with Tyree and Mike D'Andrea (my good friend on the team.. great dude). Also, History 152 with Ashton Youboty. Youboty and D'Andrea both impressed me -- well spoken, smart kids who showed up every day and did their HW. More prepared than I was. :biggrin:
