There seems to be a love affair with Chuck W right now and they accidentally beat UM (and trounced Pitt). Their remaining schedule can't be too tough with the exception of USC, can it?
BGriffBuckeye said:You've got to figure...
Ohio State: We should win out, if Tressel can decide on a QB.
USC: They have to lose sometime. @ Cal, Notre Dame and Arizona St. 2 of the 3 maybe? Hopefully, it is Cal and Arizona St.
Texas: Wins out. period.
LSU: When do they play at home? You have to figure all these road games, in the SEC nonetheless, will catch up to them eventually.
Georgia: They always lose to FL
VA Tech: they get GA tech soon, plus a tough stretch of BC, Miami and @Virginia
Tennessee: first road test, after a bye, in the Swamp? FL gets this one.
Notre Dame: Let's hope they drop the Tenn and USC games, plus one more. The Notre Dame clause in the BCS states: if they win 10 they get a BCS game. 10-2 even if they are #15? That's not right.
Florda: They look good, I'm not gonna lie, but they play @Alabama, supposedly @LSU, @ So. Carolina (you know Spurrier wants this one) and @Florida St. I don't see them going undefeated.
You just got to think the SEC beat up on each other.
After all that, dare I say a Ohio St rematch of Texas in the Rose Bowl?

Then they got upset at home by BC, and got destroyed by USC in the regular season finale and pounded by NCSU in the bowl game...they ended up #17 in both polls. I can see the same thing happening to them this year.

I agree. As much as I think we were the better team last night, if two teams each have 1 loss and they played head-to-head, you gotta give the nod to the winner.biobuck said:I don't think a 1 loss texas team will be ranked below Ohio State.
Their analysis actually seemed to give us a lot of credit, which I think we deserved. However, I'm not sure I entirely agree that Texas "being a little bit better," as they said. I honestly think we were the better team last night, and the QB carousel was much to blame both for our inability to have any red zone production and to move the ball generally.VprHis said:CFN's got us as #5
Their instant analysis was actually pretty rational, and they're not downgrading us, saying that it was a game between two evenly matched teams... just that Texas was a bit more even when it counted.
