Either works just fine. The monthly one was added mainly because we had people mention they'd prefer it. It takes a little pressure off Clarity to know there will be something ongoing, even if it isn't exact because we don't ask anyone to commit to any particular time frame, because we're all easygoing like that. Quite a few monthly donors have done single-payment donations, too. Hard-core group. :p

The front page totals reflect received funds, except that I'll sometimes add an in-transit snail mail amount if someone PMs and asks us to do so. Future monthly payments are not included, which is one reason I wanted to make mention of them separately.

And I agree, Clarity's pretty fantastic. I mean, look how long he's kept JCOSU86 from wrecking the place. :biggrin:

How it Works

Click here, or in UserCP, near the bottom of the left menu, click "Paid Subscriptions." Select the amount you would like to donate monthly, and complete the PayPal transaction.

Use your own bank account or credit card through PayPal if you wish, or the balance in your PayPal account.

I'm in now, and will be back again as soon as I can. My only regret is that I wish I could have done it sooner. In fact, I'm glad all the mods are quicker at posting info and updates than I am in showing my appreciation for this great site.

To anyone who is unsure or hesitant, all I can say is - make the donation now! You will feel great after you do!

I know that whatever amount I can give doesn't come close to what BP has given me.

I totally agree, not only is this site the best buckeye site out there but I think it is the best run forum out there for college football. I know that is a strong statement, but honestly, how could this site be run better? This site separates itself from the pack ten fold.

I have plenty of friends who send me links to their team?s forums when something involves a buckeye recruit or a big story with their program, etc. And it baffles me how other forums bash recruits, families, coaches, players. Once I see that crap I am so proud to be a member of such a great community of people who love college football and more importantly tOSU football. Well I guess that comes with the territory when being a buckeye fan............GO BUCKS!!!!!!!

First-time Donor Week

One of our current donors told me that he's been happy to see how many people have jumped right in to this year's drive, and that he would like to see more growth in the number of participants. He decided that goal is important enough to warrant an investment of its own, and so has offered an enticement.

If we are able to get 10 first-time donors registered this week (let's say through next Wednesday, actually), our friend will make an extra donation of $200 in honor of the new donors.

Participation is the goal here, so do what you can regardless of the amount, and thank you!
