Fantasy BuckeyePlanet NFL Fantasy Football League III

1st pick. Ugh......I hate having the early picks.

I'll alleviate some of the wonder. I'm taking this feller.

Didn't like the 11th pick but managed to snag 3 of the top 6 2011 reception leaders in a PPR league, and one of them is a TE. Grabbing Romo in the 5th round after those guys was pretty cool, too.

Charles and Bradshaw have good upside at RB if they can stay healthy, which is the risk with those guys. Getting Green-Ellis behind them helps given he's likely to see more carries with the Bengals than he did with NE and has shown he can find the end zone.

We'll see...

Stoked to get Ray Rice and Frank Gore at RB. Brian Hartline was my last pick, he could end up with close to 1,000 if he can get healthy. Snagged Alshon Jeffrey up in (I believe) the 8th round. I think I'm set at WR. Was happy with where I picked my receivers. Roddy White, AJ Green, and Justin Blackmon were my top 3

I wasn't so worried about the TE position, and still ended up with Owen Daniels, Dallas Clark, and Mercedes Lewis (3rd picked of the TE's, if he can score TD's, this is a steal)

Defense: Green Bay and Atlanta

Kicker: Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuge

I love my team

While the Arizona QB situation is a question mark at this point, Fitzgerald with a 2nd Rounder (16th overall) was too good to pass up. I am pleased with my receiving corps at the top end (Fitzgerald, Colston, Lloyd, Garcon), but I have a very thin bench. Garcon with an 8th might work out well if Griffin does okay this year. I loaded up on backup RBs in the late rounds so I would have a few options to start or trade them if/when starters go down.

Looking back at it, I should've gone with at least one or two more WRs in the later rounds, but WR free agent options usually seem to be more plentiful in-season compared to RBs. This is my first PPR league, however, so I'm probably pretty wrong with that generalization

I think I successfully eliminated any possibility of a breakout rookie WR this year, unless he's on my team. High risk/high reward, I suppose.
