Hating the environment since 1994
    • I know everyone aired their grievances in another thread but I felt that we should commend certain fellow posters.

    I know that I'm known on here as a screw off but that's mainly b/c of boredom.

    I just wanted to recognize a few posters:

    Clarity- What else can I say but "thank you." This site is awesome and you've busted your ass to make it that way. I'm glad you and Jo made it back to the "promised land" and wish you both health and happiness.

    osugrad21- You're the glue that keeps this site together. How you keep such a level head in heated situations is beyond me. You are the ideal moderator/administrator for any site. I don't view the recruiting forum that much but know how much work you do updating recruits info. Your students are lucky to have a student and coach like you. Thanks for all the work you do.

    3yardsandacloud- As another poster pointed out to me, next to Clarity, you probably do more work than anybody on here. With gathering all of the news stories and contributing to articles on the main page of the site, your contribution is invaluable. Thank you for everything.

    Mililani- You know that I bust you're balls just about as much as anybody on here. I do it b/c you're fun to debate and it adds some life to the board but I really respect all of the work you have done, especially in the graphics forum. You offer up all of your own bandwidth, time, and money to make this site a better place. I know from other mods. some work you have done behind the scenes that have never been made public. Yeah, sometimes you are rough and abrasive but to me it's usually a breath of fresh air compared to the "pc BS" that one usually hears. Thank you for your contribution.

    BKB- Yeah we have our spats and get under each others skin but I feel for the people who don't ever view the Poitical Board b/c that's where your real value to this board becomes evident. On the General Discussion board you dick around as much as me but reading some of your opinions on Evolution and constitutional law is humbling to say the least. It makes me realize how much I have yet to learn. I'll promise to start more serious posts if you agree to give them some well-informed responses like you do on the poli. board.:biggrin:

    buckeyegrad- You're one of my best friends and your discussions on religion and politics have shown people on here what I've thought about you all along, "You're one of the smartest people I've ever met." Plus, you have a great sense of humor.

    buckeyefool- Another one of my best buds, can always count on you for helping me rip all Cleveland teams.:biggrin: I must also say that your posts have improved about as much as anyone on here. Good work bringing your "A game."

    CCI- You are a "porn GOD!" What else can be said. Well done.

    LordJeffBuck- You are one smart man. I can always count on you to bring good insight into any conversation.

    NewYorkBuck- Don't know where you have been but miss your economical insight. I can always count on you for good financial and investment advice. The board is better off when you are posting.

    gbearbuck- Thanks for all of the work you do with the weekly Pick-em contests. That's a ton of work and you do it completely voluntarily. Thank you.


    I know I'm forgetting some people but I'll add more later.

    Oh8ch- You're one of the ones that I feel bad for forgetting. All of the work you do including the BP book are what makes this site unique.

    W/o the BP book I may to have to resort to losing real cash instead of vCash.:biggrin:

    It all starts at the top with Clarity and 3yards.

    I'd have to add BN44820 and WadC45 for their work in the recruiting forum. Both of these guys get up early every morning to do the recruiting updates and scour the papers for news concerning the recruits. LJB is the brains behind the operation and his input is invaluable. Bucknutty and Buckskin86 laid the foundation of that forum and neither should be forgotten either.

    Also, the whole game preview crew puts in a ton of time to make this place better (DaddyPhat, DaddyBB, BuckLion, Jax, Hubs, BB73, LJB, and 3yds).

    Thanks to all of the guys and gals who contributed money and merchandise to help BP remain 100% free...Littledawg, Trslfan, CharlotteBuckeye, and TallIndian come to mind for extra generosity.

    Then it all comes down to the posters who give this place the content it contains...too many to name, but the football discussion on this site is the most thorough, positive, realistic dialogue on the net.

    Thump- for senseless posts of random bullshit. A man who makes us think, "what is my favorite cereal?" He who makes many feel stupid and even more feel smart, never afraid to let someone know they may be interested in the same sex. Thank you for being a jagoff. :lol:

    To add a name that hasn't been mentioned yet, thanks to LoKy for all of his contributions on the Open Forum, including a lot of time moderating that forum. I think that many posters underestimate the time and effort involved in someone keeping the threads organized, in their proper location, and watching out for knuckleheads.

    I'm glad osugrad21 brought up Buckskin86. I was a lurker long before I started posting here and he was always one of my favorites. He was an information machine and his blogs on high school players and their weekly performances were the best I've seen compiled on the net anywhere.

    thanks BB. So many people contribute to this forum in so many ways... it's what makes it so unique. This site would be nothing without all the posters who contribute their time and resources to this community. It is easily head and shoulders above any other site out there. Thanks to all.
