Fantasy BuckeyePlanet Fantasy Football - Keeper League (R.I.P.)

Had a hell of a game this week with Buckeye Mike. Both of us were in the 130's and Jimmy Graham just couldn't get that last TD on Monday Night Football to ice it for Mike. That was crazy. Kept thinking how in the heck... I'm going to have 4 guys get 20+ points and still lose this week. Great stuff.

This coming week I had pegged as a loss in the preseason. I have AP on a bye week, a WR in the flex, and I'm playing Appalachia, who's always a tough out.

I won a cripple fight against my best friend Tommy. I've been busy with personal matters and didn't pay attention to my sorry team. Had two guys in my lineup who didn't even play, and still won handily. Thank God for Aaron Rodgers being on a bye.

...So this has been a few weeks in the making, but despite finally losing my first game this week, my team is officially a dumpster fire going forward. Pulled in 46.47 points this week, good for the 2nd lowest score from any team in any week this season (would have been the lowest score in the league this season if it weren't for tommy in week 4). According to Yahoo's projections, my starters this week were projected to score 106.09 points... so if you look up dumpster fire in the dictionary, that was my team this week.

Arian Foster pulls a hammy after 7 carries and is questionable at best for next week, which is seriously the best news of the week for me, considering everything following this sentence. His replacement Ben Tate (whom I handcuffed to Arian and has been on my bench doing absolutely nothing all year) breaks 4 ribs during the rest of the game in his stead, so that's awesome and he's going to be out for awhile. Meanwhile, Reggie Wayne blows his ACL and is done for the year. I've already had to dump Owen Daniels, who is done for the year, and had to let go of Shane Vereen (who's been on IR since week 1) to make roster room to get through a couple of bye weeks. Meanwhile, Larry Fitzgerald is sucking bags of dicks and can't stay healthy, and DeAngelo Williams' fellow RBs on his roster are finally getting healthy, so he's in a serious timeshare going forward starting next week. So I have AP with no RB2 (unless Arian's hammy miraculously gets healed by Tebow) and no Flex worth a damn on the roster, plus DeSean Jackson (who got me a whopping 1.40 points this week, in part thanks to a minor injury) and my choice of either a lame Fitzgerald or Julian Edelman as my WR2... and neither of those guys are worthy of being a WR3 right now the way they are playing.

If I didn't win another game the rest of the year, I wouldn't be surprised. My team is TOAST.

I think you lost to me...which is amazing since after losing Julio Jones, the only position I had score in double digits was the QB

Starting to clean house. It's gotten to that point, sadly. Brady is killing me, but so is everyone else not named Calvin Johnson or Knowshon Moreno. Going to be a longer rebuilding process.

Good luck today in the finals, Buckeye Mike. My rbs have carried me threw the season and they need to do it again today. Surprisingly, my team has been very consistent this year so hopefully they don't lay an egg in the finals. I am just glad you don't have Jamal Charles since I got "Charlesed" right out of the playoffs in my pay league last week.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good - we weren't the best team this season, but we sure had good timing. Great game and great season to all. Looking forward to next year!
