I just set that date/time as a placeholder to make sure we have something on the books. I'm open to changing it, and I can do pretty much any weeknight as long as it's not at the exact same time as one of my other leagues.

I know I would love to keep my team from last year, two keepers are going to be tough. :(

I am signed up as Appalachia Moonshine again, no sense screwing up a good thing...

Quick question though. Anyone know why receivers are set up as 15 yards = 1 point as opposed to 10 yards = 1 point like the running backs? I know last year receivers weren't near as valuable because of this descrepancy. I don't really care if we keep it that way or not, but it does affect who I might keep or my draft strategy. Just thought I would throw that out there...

The league settings are copied directly from the regular BP Deuce league settings. These are the same settings we used last season.

Once we find out who's definitely in/out we can see if the group wants to change something.

Currently, only FKA & SparkyOSU have not responded. FKA seems to be missing from a couple of leagues, so his return looks doubtful. Anyone know about Sparky?

How long should we give before opening things up to replacements?

Remember, as of last year the talk was 2 keepers.....then redraft in a reverse-order snake draft.

When should we 'lock in' our keepers by? I don't want to do it too early because of pre-season injury concerns, but at the same time we should probably give ourselves a chance to prepare for the draft somewhat by knowing who will be available in the redraft.

Well, first we need everybody to sign up. We have four people including myself, and should have four more if there are two people missing/out. We'll need to find people to take over whoever isn't gonna be back and get them signed up. After that we can set a definite draft date and deadline to declare keepers.

I think having to declare your keepers by a week before the draft at the latest should give everybody a chance to pre-rank players or come up with a strategy.

OK, looks like we're still missing FKA & Sparky. Everybody who has said they're still in has signed up except my friend & jwinslow. My friend just moved and is still working on getting his internet situation straightened out so I'm giving him the time he needs to get that taken care of. Assuming him and jwinslow eventually sign up, that means we need two new owners. Has anybody nominated themselves or know of somebody who would like in?

I don't see a problem with it....in fact, coming from a defunct league do you know of a buddy who wants to join with you?

There are 2 vaccated teams (with you occupying one), the 2 with the ????? beside their names....FKA & Sparky's old rosters (see post #83), so you'll need to take over one of those. We're keeping 2 players each, then having a snake-order redraft.
