I’m still having the “it’s a scam” denial from PayPal. I’ll try again in another day. If you need $ urgently, you can message me of another payment method.
I got the "This Mike fella is a shady character and this is 100% a scam" message also, but it said "If you want to get swindled by this con artist press here to continue." So I pressed and continued. No problem after that.

We're still working on how to do subscriptions as steady cash flow is great (but any type of gift is appreciated)

The absolute minimum will be $350/month, if there are no surprises, long support tickets or big upgrades.

$1400, so that we have 4 months of coverage... and stay at least one month beyond triggering the slow shutdown when we hit 3 months or less of funding.

Silly question, did we do venmo or cash app at all?

50 people at 10/month, and we should not only meet the monthly nut but start building an emergency fund to cover any unforseen issues.

One thing is that I did away with my PayPal account some time ago. Would prefer another method. For the time being can I directly zelle you the money until some subscription method is up and running?

@Mike80 has to pay taxes on the revenue so up to him, but I'd be asking you guys to work with me to keep it as close to break even as possible.

I wouldn't imagine it to be a huge amount but easy for us to say when it's not our tax bill

Does he have to claim it if it's friends and family? I know he "should", but that's how I sent mine. I mean, it's a charitable endeavor to hang out with Thump...

The math is correct but do we have 50 people that will give $10/month? First, do we have 50 people who will give monthly? The EPs should have an idea of how many regular posters (who are the most likely to give) we have.
There will be people who, because of finances or apathy or whatever, will give nothing or maybe $5/month. There are others who will give between $5-$10/month. Some who begin giving monthly will fall off.
A banket statement of just give $10/month will cause a shortfall. We will need those who will commit to between $10/month and $50/month for long term stability. We do not want to have to come back in panic mode because of a shortfall in 10 or 12 or 14 months.
That is a simplified version of Fundraising 101.

This is a for profit business, not a 5013c, we aren't making donations, we are making payments.
