Found a minor formatting issue, using chrome on an HTC one. The initial formatting its perfect except when I scroll to the right a little bit there is some extra grey space. Can't upload the picture from my phone, it only gives me the option to take a new photo, I'll post it later once I grab it off my phone

Is it that all the content blocks are aligned and there is some extra background on the right, out of the way unless you scroll sideways? I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's because we serve 3 main widths - phone, tablet, and full screen. Your device figures out how to display it from there.

I've been getting emails when I receive personal conversations. I'm trying to figure out now how to disable that for all current users (I've already turned it off for new registrations). In the meantime, anyone who wants to turn them off for themselves (should you not want email notification that someone has sent you a message) can do so by mousing over their username, and then selecting Contact Details. Then uncheck this box and save.

My goals for today (no ETA):
  • Front page (but the one we have right now is SO Spartan!

  • Spy
  • Get @LongwoodBuck rolling on re-applying all currency bumps based on donations from the last four years (depreciating; 100% a 1:100 ratio, 75%, 50%, 25%).
  • Don't break anything.
Probably not today, but ASAP:
  • Pickem
  • In-line tweets
  • Not breaking anything.

Right it displays just fine until i start scrolling sideways, then the extra background comes into play. How does the site detects phone vs tablet vs PC.

Based entirely on the screen dimensions. It doesn't care what a device is, just how much space it has to work with.

@Deety -- we may want to create a thread for style/ad issues and tweaks. Probably deserves its own discussion. Not that CentralMOBuck's biggest-image-evar! isn't fantastic. :)
