Buckeye Receivers - 2005

If you wanted to be conservative, you would have assumed it was 10:01 and 99/100ths of a second, which would be closer to what actually played out (1.12 seconds between snap and game clock change).
Good answer, and I appreciate your thoughtfulness, but it could not possibly be 10:01.999. The clock counts down, not up. I say conservative, because, if anything, there are already a few hundredths into the 10:01-to-10:00 second. No possible way the time elapsed between 10:01 and the turning of 9:56 could be even a smidge over 5 seconds. It is almost always a smidge under, thus I say, conservatively, it is 5 seconds flat.

But we are just blowing smoke and having fun. Needless to say, Santonio is a burner, and that on the field in pads.

While we're at it, any other highlights that I can relive? This might just tie me over for another <3 months. Your effort is appreciated.

Not being a smartass, but did you even look around the rest of the Mili's Video Clips forum? There are a ton of highlight clips...

I'm not sure i follow? Maybe I'm to tired... anyway, like i said snap occured at .11 and i attached a picture of where he was at when he reached the 40 and the clock changed to just flipped over to 9:56, just a "smidge" over 5 seconds (number in the lower left hand corner is how far into the clip we are 5.23-.11 =5.12 seconds from snap to 40 yard line)

Okay guys, I was thinking the other day how much talent we have at the WR position, and I'm wondering from you fellow buckeye fans who are gonna be the big guns in the WR corps this yr besides the usual suspects as in Ginn and Santonio.....as far as I know for WR here's who we got

Ted Ginn jr (soph)
Santonio Holmes (jr.)
Roy Hall (jr.)
Tony Gonzales (jr.)
Albert Dukes (soph?)
Devon Lyons (soph)

now these guys are all fast and all have potential at being key playmakers....now I hear they might move Hall to TE or even maybe in the backfield see what he can do there, guy's got a ton of talent but i Mean at the WR pos besides ginn/holmes Gonzo really stepped it up last yr and is looking for huge playing time this year. I also really like Devon Lyons, he's fast and can be dangerous, I think he can really step up and i hope he gets the opportunity to prove himself this year....also regarding Albert Dukes, hes from Belle Glade, enuf said haha, I believe Fox said last year that Dukes is the best WR on the team PERIOD, and that includes a nice list of gonzo ginn and holmes. From what I hear, Dukes has all the weapons to be a great buckeye wr, and i think he'l really start to step it up when santonio is in the pro's but we'l see....which guys of these ppl do u think will get good reps and what kind of packages will we see different receivers in?

im just excited I cant wait!

quick list fixes

Gonzalez is a Sophomore this year. Dukes will be a RS Frosh.

First, a little clarification on the eligibility of those WRs. Gonzalez is a RS sophomore, not a junior. Holmes is a junior, but he redshirted, so should be listed as a RS junior, as is Hall. Dukes is a RS freshman. The only listed WRs who haven't redshirted are Ginn and Lyons.

Now, there was talk about Hall moving to TE even last year, but that hasn't happened yet. Even if he did move, we're still more than deep enough at WR. Not only do we still have Holmes, Ginn, Gonzalez, Lyons, and Dukes at WR if Hall becomes a TE, but we also have incoming freshman Amos, Hartline, Robiskie, and Washington. We're set for quite a while.

not really going out on any limbs with this one, but id say look out for gonzo and lyons. gonzo should see the field alot this year as the #3 wr. we will likely see more 3+ wr looks this year than we have the past 3 yrs combined. tressel clearly will not abandon the run. but i don't see him trying to force feed it to anyone like we did early last year.

Dukes is really quick, but in the spring game he showed that he has a long way to go before we can count on him. He has issues with catching, route running, and fumbling just to name a few. Personally I think he is still a year away from seeing the field besides mop up time. I feel good about the Holmes, Ginn, Gonzo lineup with Hall, and Lyons providing depth.
Is there some reason that Jordan hasn't been mentioned here? He's been in the system a couple years and might be a good backup if he can stay healthy.

There is no nickel back in the country, much less the big ten, that will be able to cover Gonzalez. He started to show flashes of what he was capable of at the end of last season, but this year .... Mismatch city. Not that there are any starting corner duos that'll be able to hang with Ginn/Holmes, but I just see a nasty nasty mismatch on Gonzo when all three of those guys are on the field. We saw him get loose for a few big plays at the end of last season, but I see him getting loose for a bunch of big games (for a #3 guy) all year this season.
