Very good work guys.

Couple of suggestions --
A -- Get yer paypal done. It can only help sales. Make a separate announcement / Sticky when PayPal is up and running.

B -- If $5 if by spring and $12 if by T isn't enough, Do a follow up after spring game (say around August) adding a snappy slogan --

Like

"The Best Damned Site in The Land for The Best Damned Fans in The Land"

Toot that horn -- you deserve to.

Anyway I'm in - guess I'll trust Scarlet's PayPal if that's OK with him.
One gray, one red and pre-emptively booking one of the follow-up shirts, whichever new slogan looks / fits best (and keeping what you have logo / font).

We'll do that, hopefully done by the end of today. We'll throw up a sticky once that takes place, with the help of the mods.

Also, for any of you who might be worried about paypal to this scarlet guy you may or may not know, realize that it is a much more secure system and much easier to recover your money.

Anyways, cool suggestion about the shirts. Would be a good way to promote the shirt, increase sales at games (off-campus of course), etc.

BTW, we already have a seller's license for selling off-campus, so we are covered in that respect if we decide to try and sell (those of you who are preordering them are picking them up, not buying) these at the spring game.

Make sure the comment field is open on the PayPal form so we can put in our user name.

Yeah we're thinking shipping will be about $4 or so, nothing final yet. We'd go with a flat-rate shipping or something similar.

Yep the plan is to have the comment field include:

Real Name
BP username
Exact order

All of this will be explained in the writeup. We are also going to have a blog on the front page about the non-BP sponsored t-shirt project once we get the paypal thing done (Scarlet is on vacation today so I don't know what our timetable is).

Just make sure you associate it with a credit card and not your debit card. I don't think you can do a chargeback on your debit card. You have to go through the bank and fill out a bunch of forms and whatnot.

Paypal is ultra safe. I have had verified account with them for years. Only had one bad experience, but Paypal hooked me up. It was on Ebay. I won an aucton and paid through Paypal and the dude wouldn't send the item. I just called Paypal and they froze his account and gave him 10 days to respond and then took the money out and returned it to me, then charged him an extra $25.00 for the chargeback. He started sending threatening emails saying he was gonna find me and kick my ass. So I told him I got his IP address and did a reverse lookup on him and that I would be making a visit to him that weekend. (He lived in Kentucky.) He emailed me back and said that everything was cool and that if I still wanted the item he would send it no charge. I didn't take it, but it was hilarious.

Anyways, like I said Paypal is safe. Plus Scarlet is cool... You have nothing to worry about.

Got a question: I'm getting t-shirts for friends on campus. What would be the easiest way to give the money? Should I just pay for all the t-shirts I'm getting for my friends via paypal (easiest for me) or collect all the money and give it to you guys at the spring game?

No we really want everyone to pay up front if possible. And it would probably be easiest for you to just pay for all of them via paypal. There are plenty of people on the order list that are ordering shirts for friends and such and are just gonna pay one payment. That is the easiest solution for everyone.

Also, another distinction I will add in the first post of the thread:

All checks must be made out to Josh Lucas

That will get the money to him so he can then send the money to clarity (only clarity can cash a buckeyplanet.com check so please do not write it out to that)

we are almost done with the paypal setup...

That link that mili posted will only work if you are ordering a short sleeve t-shirt. We are going to have 4 versions of the thing you saw mili post... 1 for Short Sleeve, long sleeve, SS + shipping, and LS + shipping.

We would have this done but scarlet and I have been playing PM tag (we're rarely on at the same time). Plus he's being a jerk and celebrating his birthday or some crap like that :)
