Okay, after major delays, technical difficulties, late ballots, bad ballots, AKAK's laptop cracshing and having to rebuild the whole process, buying a new computer to back up his dead laptop, configuring that thing and being up until 3am getting ready for a meeting this morning... because all his shit broke... here's sort of what week 4 would have looked like.

***** Now... here's the deal. This week, if we don't have the ballots by 10am WEDNESDAY we're fucked... by availability turns to zero after that, until about Tuesday. So do them NOW!

2 Texas (2)
3 Virginia Tech

Yup, I'm a little unorthodox. LSU beat ASU on a fluke, and ASU is the only team in at least the last 8 games to give USC a run for their money. If you play the number one team in the country, and lose by half the spread, should you really drop in the rankings? I think ASU is as good as where I ranked them.

As for Virginia, that was tough. I think they're better than Louisville and Michigan, but...I had an easy time with the top 20, but I had to choose from about 15 teams to get my bottom five. To me, those spots are all give and take.

I also had a tough time finding teams after #20. I didn't want to rank scUM, but I think they're in the top 25. I had to rank Nebraska and Oregon in order to keep Louisville unranked, because I really believe they don't deserve it.

Louisville has enough of an offense to merit ranking, IMO. Again, they aren't all that good, but they are better than they showed against Southern Florida.

I really don't think scUM deserves to be ranked, but, like I said, once you get past #20 it's really just a pick your poison contest.
