I believe it’s a first team All American from at least one of the 5 major awardees:

AP, AFCA, Walter Camp, FWAA, or the Sporting News.

Someone is a consensus first team All American if they are on at least 3 of those 5.

Caleb Downs is poised to become the 6th Buckeye player to be named a Unanimous All-American TWICE.
