Granville Waiters (sp?). Forget the guy's name, but he played 10 years in the league, believe with the Knicks as a defensive presence. We've had some good contributors that maxed out in the college game over the years.

Just sayin': I believe that you might be thinking of Herb Williams. He actually played 18 season in the NBA including several years with the Knicks as a player and a coach.
