I never understood it... Some people think thats the best way to handle a signing.. It could possibly be the worst!!
And running out of photo's? I actually know why this happened. The show promoter is making the store owners buy photos and will not take back any that isn't signed.. They think you can predict the future and how many people are planning on attending the signings. And thats how many photos they stick you with.... Not in my shows!! they take back whatever I don't get signed.

I went today to see Freeman and arrived at 1:55. Unfortunately, all of the locals arrived at 10 a.m. and picked up a ticket so that they could come back at 2 (some even at 3) and ditch everyone. I didn't get an autograph until 3:40 and that was after Marcus agreed to stay an extra 20-30 minutes to finish up for the fans. He really didn't have to do it but he's a pretty nice guy.
And yes, they ran out of photos. Some people were getting him to sign blank pieces of paper.... I didn't really see the reason for that, but what do I know?
