That's really not a "kosher" thing to do in my opinion as the players like to meet up with their families etc after the game. There are kids who seek autographs and that's ok to an extent, but I'm assuming you're not a kid.

who cares if its kosher...all he wants was an autograph.if the player doesnt want to sign he doesnt have to.doesnt matter if your a kid or not

But it's kosher for people to go up to them on campus while they're walking to class or somewhere else and ask for autographs? No I'm not a kid but I was hoping to get some autographs for my 5 year old nephew who lives in North Carolina and loves the Buckeyes. I didn't know you were the teams spokesperson.

I really agree with this. Its more appropriate to get a players autograph after the game that it would be if you saw them out at Grille 27 or somewhere enjoying college life. I'm in college and not a kid and heck I want their autographs. They're great athletes!!!! Go Bucks!!!

Nice one Jerry. No, that's even worse. How about you send whatever you want signed to the WHAC with a return envelope and postage and a pen for them to sign the items. That usually works out pretty well.

So basically how you see it is that it is never a good time to ask for an autograph? Look I'm all for not bothering the players at inappropriate times but I would think after a game would be a lot better then most times. If they don't want to sign that's fine just say so. But for you to come down on me for asking a simple question is a little over the top, we all love this team and the players so if getting an autograph after a game for someone who drove down from cleveland and rarely gets to get autographs is out of line then I guess there is no good time to get autographs.

Does anybody know if the players will have any type of signing this weekend? Or does anybody know where the locker room is located because I might try to snag a few auto's or meet some of the players when they get on the bus after the game.

Heres the Dayton info, doesnt really look like a great autograph opportunity but this would rock if I was in HS.

Two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin will be the keynote speaker at College Prep Night, hosted by Fifth Third Bank, on Monday, September 29th. The event will take place at Fifth Third Field from 5:30-8:30 p.m., is free of charge, and is open to high school students and their families.

Twelve (12) local colleges and universities will have representatives on hand to provide information, including the University of Dayton, Wright State University, Ohio State University, Sinclair Community College, and Cedarville University. Representatives of Fifth Third Bank will also be available to provide information on financing a college education. Student loan, credit card, and student checking account information will be provided to interested persons.

All students who send an RSVP on daytondragons.com for the event are eligible to win a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship courtesy of Fifth Third Bank. Students signing up for a Fifth Third Bank checking account are also eligible to win a $10,000 scholarship.

In addition to Archie Griffin, other guest speakers will include Chris Ochs, assistant football coach, University of Dayton (?Making the Transition to College?) and Stefanie Channell, Fifth Third Education Lending (?Make the Most of Your College Money?).
