Broncos at Vikings(-1.5)

dont watch. it helps. turn on Martha stewart

It just disgusts me that ESPN's agenda goes so far to praise Tim Tebow, not the Broncos, for winning. Sure he's been a factor, but man, they've given next to NOTHING in respect to the rest of the team.

Willis McGahee sounded a little annoyed by the media's stance (last week) on the Broncos state of affairs.

They were not all "ducks", and his 4th quarter QB rating is 4th in the NFL. Today he had a 149.3 for the game.

For all of the fugly Tebow love, Tim is in fact getting better passing, like any virtual rookie does. Ponder threw a bunch today but had 2 INTs.

Tebow has 8 TDs to 1 INT. That is more why he is not losing. He is playing Tressel ball.

But it doesn't warrant 20 minutes out of every hour long SportsCenter to discuss the same garbage recycled from the day before.

Unless you are trying to sell air time, and people stop and watch/listen whenever the name "Tebow" comes up. Bayless and co. admit that talking Tebow helps ad revenue because the lovers and haters tune in to fight about Timmy. Divisive equals listeners. Listeners equals revenue.

Capitalism. Sucks sometimes.

How is ESPN still being taken seriously these days? Like, there are people out there that thing ESPN is the only means of sports.

And I'm not saying I turn it on as soon as they're about to start talking Tebow. It's more along the lines of, every time a show ends on my DVR... I go to delete it, it goes back to ESPN, who are conveniently talking Tebow.

Late at night, trying to catch some highlights on ESPN News.. I make it 10 minutes in, and a 4-5 minute segment on Tebow pops up.

Monday Night Football, pregame show, and halftime show.. Not one individual in the NFL is talked about more than Tim Tebow.

Cam Newton, the #1 overall draft pick isn't getting NEARLY as much publicity as Tim Tebow is. And he's putting up sick stats on a shitty team. (more impressive IMO)

Don't disagree with a single word you say. Just explaining the process by which he is shoved down our throat is not of his doing, but a simple money thing. Tim had the #1 NFL jersey sales before he took a snap. ESPN glommed on to the fact that the phenomenon it helped create could make it even more money, and keep folks listening/watching. Sort of like Finebaum with his artificially created controversies between the Alabubbas and Barners.
