Brian "Body Kount" Kelly (Temu Ed Orgeron)

Instead of hiring a “image consultants”, maybe just try not being a massive dickhead all the time? Just a thought….

Yeah, but then he’d have no personality.

I've never seen a firing spree like we have witnessed this year.

ADs begging for NIL money and buyouts is going to make most big jobs a toxic mess where coaches have 2 years before boosters start threatening to pull money.

There are a lot of opportunities for smaller teams, but much more instability. A lot of programs are going to experience death spirals after missing on the right guy 3-4 times in a row.

Kelly was a pos and LSU needed to do this, just a bad year for it.

Thing about Nick is he doesn’t treat like people are beneath him. He calls the shots sure, but he is on the ground with everyone grinding and making sure everyone is doing their job.

BK was fucking around and playing golf and grinding on recruits and acted like he was doing LSU a favor by being paid handsomely to be our HC.

Think that’s pretty fair…..say what u want about Saban, I know a lot of people aren’t fans, but he never struck me as a guy who had a superiority complex.

He worked his ass off and expected others to match his effort.

BK always seemed like the guy who wanted you to respect him without ever earning it.

Major difference.

was referring only to the way he spoke to people, not work ethics.
I get that but it applies all the way around. Nick tells people to do their job because he’s doing his, a worker among workers

As you pointed out bk acted like everyone was there to serve him and spoke that way.

Nick was a demanding prick because he wanted what was best for the whole and he individuals in the whole while BK was a demanding prick because he just thought he deserved to be treated better than others

I feel the same way. I always had disdain for Saban, and if I'm being honest some of that probably comes from a little jealousy and sour grapes. But I've always respected him for what he accomplished and who he is. He never pulled punches or pretended to be someone he isn't. He has always shown us exactly who and what he is.
