Bret Bielema (HC Illinois)

what do you do if you're wiscy now?

you can't let the world think a mid tier program was able to "steal" your coach.
but you also can't let everyone think you're too cheap to keep the guy who just took you to the rose bowl again.
Sure they can. Wisconsin not paying Biff elite money is the right decision. No one's going to give a shit about this after the Rose Bowl.

They'll just bring back the prodigal son and guy who was responsible for Bielema's success from Pittsburgh and keep on trucking.

What an idiot. Assdouche leaves one of the better programs in the Big Ten, a conference where he could conceivably get to a championship in, only to leave for a subpar program that will get fisted on a weekly basis in the SEC. Can't wait to see Assdouche cry when the SEC vultures come after his recruits...better invest that money wisely.

Aside from all that, way to just [censored] your alma matter that treated you so well and gave you everything you had. Seriously, [censored] this guy...I can't hate him anymore at this point and I thought it was impossible to hate him more than I did yesterday. This might not be awful though...more than likely means Chryst comes back. While I will still hate Wisky, it will be really hard to hate them as much as I did with Assdouche as coach.
He actually went to Iowa. Otherwise I agree with everything you said. And it sounds like he left on really good terms too.

I am absolutely shocked by this. Saw the headlines and though it was a joke at first.

I am dying at seeing articles saying "SEC beats B1G again!" :slappy: You can have this dumbfuck of a coach SEC, I'm sure very few Bucky fans are complaining.

I am only disappointed for one reason: We won't get the privilege to see Urban Meyer kick this whiny douche every season. I was looking forward to this new lopsided rivalry.

I'm really not concerned about it.

Wisconsin is an actual respected University.

Sparty is probably the closest parallel to Auburn (in-state little brother with delusions of grandeur)...well again with the exception of having a decent school attached.
Auburn is a good school. Lots of friends from there, with degrees ranging from civil engineering to fine arts. Granted, it's not in the same league as B1G schools, but it's certainly no Boycee State Truckers College.

exactly.
the school stupid enough to hire John L. was good enough to hire him away from Wiscy.

what style is that?
power running game and solid defense?

LSU and Bama have been playing that style for a while now.

heard he told his players via text message

It's a different style of power-run game. LSU and Bama thrive on a power run-game, but it looks nothing like UW. UW's is a throwback to the 60's with multiple H-backs, intricate motion, and unbalanced lines.

I'm not saying LSU and Bama aren't from the same cut-out, b/c they are. I'm saying Wisconsin has run the same plays for 30 years and they're still effective. And the foundation is Barry Alvarez.

Biff was just the next guy, and a guy that lost half his staff to Pitt with Paul Chryst. Biff was also losing the best tailback he has ever had coming off a 5 loss season. It was a perfect time for him to re-up elsewhere. And in actuallity, probably saves Alvarez from having to make a difficult decision in 2 years after Butthead lead them to 3 Rose Bowls.
