Yeah. For me, Musberger and Keith Jackson are the soundtrack to many of my college football memories. But neither were good for much other than nostalgia the last few years they were/are around.

And it's worth noting that today's batch of commentators can't carry either of their jocks in their primes.

Everyone should be required to start in radio so they can learn to shut the pumpkin up every once and awhile and actually focus on calling the game.

I love Musburger, and I hate to see him go. He may not be in his prime, but hearing his voice during a game brought added weight and enjoyment. He and Herbstreit were my favorite football announce team.
