4 episodes in.....I'm not getting the allure. I'll probably at least give it the balance of the first season, but based on my impression thus far, I don't think I would watch any more.

Wait til you get towards the end of Season 1, it'll start picking up a bit more.

Give it a chance. I too was saying "what's all the hype about" until at least halfway through the first season.

First season is the worst season imo. Not even close, either. It gets exponentially better.

Just wait for the HOLY FUCKING SHIT moments later in the series. There are plenty of them, and I don't think any of them are in season one. :lol:

Yeah, everything picks up and yes there are a lot of holy fucking shit moments once Gus comes along.

I finished Season 1 about 6:30 this morning. I think Tuco might be the only character I like...and that's only because he was Julio on The Closer. :slappy:

You gotta stick it out. I was iffy after season 1. It takes off in season 2. Gus Fring is one of the best antagonists in TV history, in my IMO.

Ever since I've moved back to Ohio, this is what I hear my family talking about (among other things) in their daily lives. Keep in mind I might see my family once a week. Somehow "whats new" on TV always gets brought up. But the guys at the gym a downright annoying about it - even that stupid kid at the counter when you walk in who always wants to make small talk. So I saw this, which I feel accurately explains how people treat this show.
