Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul

I appreciate the camera work/shot of Hector walking into the diner was the exact same shot of Lydia walking in (over Dwayne's shoulder on Breaking Bad).

It was kinda predictable that once Tuco got arrested, Hector and the twins weren't far behind. But since this is a prequel, everything is kind of predictable (large things like Mike working for Gus).

Also loved the camera work when Hector leaves the diner, with the stationary shot from behind the register, bell in the foreground on the counter top as Hector walks out.

I think I'm most anxious for the predictable things that we didn't know how they'd get from Point A to Point B, such as in the season 2 episode of Breaking Bad when Saul Goodman is introduced, Walt and Jesse kidnap him and drag him to a shallow grave where he begs for his life when he thinks he's being executed, "It wasn't me, it was Ignacio!"

What the hell will Jimmy and Nacho wind up getting into?

Cleaning Person: "Dude, I'm from TSUN."
Jimmy: "So you don't understand a word I've been saying" (after speaking Spanish).

I got a kick out of that interaction.

Gotta start looking for birds carrying guns in their beaks as well.

After the tonight's (3/28) episode's final scene, I have a craving for Whataburger (just from the mere mention).

I had never had it until a year or two ago. I love a good burger. Sooo...I was in Florida and there was Whataburger. I stopped in and ordered something simple. Just some ketchup, mustard, cheese. Gotta taste it without all the frills to judge it. It was eerily similar to McDonald's. Anyone else think so?

Don't shoot me...

Made the mistake of being all caught up as of this week's episode.

Mistake in that, god dang I'm excited for the season finale but I hate actually watching a show as it happens and waiting. Binged on Season 1 on Netflix, and mostly forgot about Season 2 until I jumped on AMC.com and couldn't stop until being up to date.

This is an amazing tale.

- "Class of '64. He still talks about it."
- "But the school was built in '71."

4/11 Episode

It's a simple scene, but the scene where Jimmy is singing "Escape" and the make-up girl behind him just starts moving her head while the camera people are trying to keep a straight face had me laughing. You could tell they had many takes because the two guys had to cover their mouths (laughing).

Next "Breaking Bad" cameo I predict will be Don Eladio.

I regret never having a part-time job in high school or college where I could actually get bribed.

It's a good "Close to Midnight" burger. Most of the time I enjoyed Whataburger it's been in Texas or Louisiana and it's usually to forget something. The patty is thicker/juicier than McDonald's (unless you go to a poorly-run location).

I still recall eating Whataburger to try to forget the 2007 BCS Title Game against Florida (2006 season). Left my house (in Louisiana) at halftime. To this day, still haven't watched the second half.

Just talkin' burgers, I like Fuddruckers and In-N-Out. Don't like Smashburger or Fatburger.

Never had In-N-Out. It's at the top of my list.
