08:18 AM ET 09.21 | Now, what if it were Urban Meyer who said something similar? Brian Kelly and Brady Hoke have a history, and by all accounts, it's a friendly one. So when the Notre Dame coach joked earlier this week that the second-year Michigan boss was as "big as ever," Hoke naturally took the entire thing in stride. "I think I am," Hoke joked Thursday on 97.1 FM's Stoney and Bill show. "Large, husky, whatever. Chris Farley, any of those things are fine." Hoke and Kelly will square off for the fifth time in their coaching careers Saturday when Michigan visits Notre Dame (7:30 p.m., NBC). Kelly's Central Michigan squads went 3-0 against Hoke's Ball State teams, but Hoke got one back last season when the Wolverines knocked of the Fighting Irish in Michigan Stadium.

Still a pig.

Say what?

Re: "Coach Brady Hoke and offensive coordinator Al Borges said backup Thomas Rawls had earned the right for more carries after rushing nine times for 90 yards three weeks ago against Illinois.
He hasn't received a carry since.
Hoke said he didn't go to Rawls in Saturday's loss to Nebraska -- in which Toussaint and Vincent Smith combined for 32 yards on 19 carries -- because he liked the way Toussaint was rushing."
