I cant wait to see Luke and company send bh back to the MAC. Fingers crossed that he is nothing better than RR was.....especially considering he is a michigan man and everything. I dont think I would really feel this way had he not made a point to call tOSU....Ohio or from that state Ohio. We have a university here in Athens, Ohio....called Ohio University.....being from Ohio and eveything I would think the dumbass would know that.

I always felt JT called michigan......michigan because he got the rivalry. BH...from Dayton, OHIO might need LF to teach him a little lesson about respect. Hate on your home state all you want.....but dont underestimate what JT has built and what LF will continue to build. Go Bucks

not really expecting to this year, again. osu still has much better talent then UM. Yeah, the recruiting is great, but we won't see much of that for another 2 years or so.

It is nice to be excited over recruits that aren't slot dots though. Such a change from the last three years......:lol:

This is it for most fans, we still do not have the talent or size to compete with the top teams yet.

When I look at a roster that has 14 WR, I just shake my head.

yeah, there are waaaaayyyyyy to many UM fans out there who think, for some reason, osu is just going to go out and lay an egg this season. They still have tons of talent. They don't rebuild, the simply restock. Beat notre dame and msu this year, and i'll be content.

The Negative recruiting comes from media for the most part. I don't think it was Michigan or Hoke that turn the 5 start Kalis to Michigan.

IMO it was 5 guys with a lot of ink and a coach who made a bad choice.

I'm not saying that Hoke used negative recruiting to get Kalis' commitment. Hoke might very well be "above board" and "as honest as the day is long", I have no idea. However, negative recruiting is the "standard operating proceedure" with many coaches (i.e. think SEC here). And if the coach doesn't actually do it himself he has some designated surrogates that are more than happy to do it for him.

I'm sure other players are the biggest neg recruiters there are. No doubt in my mind verbaled recruits are in the ears of other kids still making decisions talking ish about osu. Just like kids going to osu are probably in kids ears talking ish about UM.

Oh believe me, I understand that maybe you think I'm insinuating some sort of rejuvenation in scUM winning and making The Game more competitively balanced. [censored] that, I'll gladly take a 9-1 decade again! It's more that I'm glad that scUM fan's spirits are higher once more from some recruiting wins and the new "Ohio" coach. I'd rather be destroying the sand castles of higher self esteem fans than the fans who a few years ago gave up building sand castles altogether. This is about the more sadistic pleasures associated with destruction.

That and at least it doesn't seem that their new coach rides at the back of the short bus to school.
