I can play this game - FOX actually employed him as a radio host the year he was out of coaching. Dude couldn't cut it being the PA guy for a junior high volleyball game.

I would just say that if you spoke with him for 5 minutes and thought it a good idea to hire him for a position that involves speaking then you are the problem, not the buffoon.
