Pete Mangurian, Columbia’s football coach, resigned Friday, a day after the university’s student newspaper reported that a letter from players to the administration said he had verbally and physically abused them and ordered them to return to the field after sustaining concussions.

Right up Hoke's alley. But wait, there's more!

Mangurian compiled a 3-27 record over three seasons, including a current 21-game losing streak.

So basically, losing 21 games in a row wasn't enough to get this guy canned, it wasn't until there were abuse allegations on top of this epic losing streak that he was ousted. Perhaps this is the one place in the country where Hoke would actually be an upgrade.
