I had heard of leagues doing this, but have never played this way...I didn't know the league was allowing it...

The thing that really bothers me is that we are picking for special teams...So if you like their return man, choose that team for defense/special teams...

I mean some of the best reutnr men aren't even WR or RB, so it eliminates some of the best, so why should we allow for a category when you can't pick from the best of the best...

Really it isn't going change the outcome that much as what is the most a guy would have 4 or 5...

I don't care, the commish makes the rules and says what he wants to do, I just don't like the rule, don't think it really has to do with what is going on in terms of fantasy stats, and we already have a category for covering the Steams touchdowns...

I picked the wide receiver, McKiney from South Carolina, for his return capability but my pick was not solely based on that. In all honesty, I don't care how we go but I do think we should go the way the rules were set on this site. Having said that, I guess I should read the rules. It's not like we are playing for money or anything but we are playing for pride which I guess is something.

I guess when I initially did glance over the points system here I saw that defense also included return TDs so I guess I just assumed that would be the team that you would get your special teams points from including punt returns and kickoff returns or am I missing something. Change my vote back to the way 40 is voting.

Defense/Special Teams:
Defensive TDs: 6 points
Punt Return TDs: 6 points
Kickoff Return TDs: 6 points
Safeties: 2 points

This is how I read it from the very first page of this thread unless it has been changed in another post deeper in this thread. It should stand this way and that is how I vote.

Against: 7

This one is over. I'll remove the stats for individual points for kickoff & punt returned TDs. Teams will only get points for their defense/special teams.

40 stole MY defense because they're filthy and are facing a year's worth of terrible offenses. My top defense, without knowing about their personnel (tho it rarely matters with them)

I'm working on a pick, but am slowed down quite a bit on a phone

Otherwise, I should be home in a few hours.

Yeha but they did lose quite a bit...It was a pick on tradition and their special teams history moreso than talent...I had Cincy above them on my board, but someone stole them...:tongue2:
