Also are we going to have to have the commish allow the trade, so say if someone is out of it, they can trade their best player for anothers horrible to help him out...Just to make sure the commish things the trade is fair...

Anytime someone offers a trade, we'll have a league vote. If you think a trade is unfair, then you can vote against it.

Okay:confused: what do I do after all my selections have been made or do I just wait for instructions from the Commissioner or are there some issues that need to be resolved before we continue. Just asking:)

Once we finish the draft, we need to finalize some issues:

-Waivers
-Playoffs

You will not be allowed to make roster changes until we finalize the waiver options.

I will be sending everyone a PM with the options we have for waivers & playoffs. Please reply with a PM with which option you want. I will keep a log of everyone's votes and will post the results after I receive all of the votes or once an option is considered 'won' by a majority.

FWIW, I have a problem with that. I already have a deal to trade my recent tight end pick for the only pick in the last round, the one to make up for Ingram's injury. The season hasn't started, nobody who is out of it is helping a team who is in the thick of winning, and I don't think it is anyone's business who I trade with before the season starts.

Trade's in the midst of the season can be more impacting, and I can see the reason not to let the Texas Tech QB be traded by someone out of it to a contender with a week to go, but to trade right now - well, that seems like it should not be up to anyone else's vote what I do.

I mean, I will do what the group says, don't get me wrong, I am not trying to start a rebellion, but I would like you to know my thoughts about early trades, as I have already made a promise about it, and, I guess, to propose a difference in rules before the season starts.

The regular season is 12 weeks long (The '08 season is a week longer than the standard college season), beginning on the weekend of August 30th (first game Thursday 8/28) and ending on the weekend of November 15th. Any games before those weekends will not count towards a team's points. The playoffs will begin the weekend of Nov. 22nd.

For leagues that have three rounds of playoffs the playoffs will begin on the weekend of November 15th. For leagues with no playoffs the regular season continues through the weekend of November 29th.

Leagues with a 10-week season, start with the games beginning on the weekend of September 27th (first game Tuesday 9/23).

The U-Sports Week runs from Tuesday through Monday. Games that kickoff on Tues., Weds., Thur., and Friday nights will count towards the following Saturday. Games played on Sunday or Monday will count towards the previous Saturday.

Cancelled/Rescheduled Games
Players on college teams who have their games cancelled, for whatever reason, will not receive points for that week.

If the game is rescheduled it will count for the fantasy week in which it was rescheduled. If the game is rescheduled outside of the fantasy season (i.e. conference championship weekend), the game will not count for fantasy purposes.

Is it a straight up trade for the TE that you selected for his 19th round pick? I just want to make sure you guys aren't doing a 2 for 1 player trade.

For those picking the waiver wire to be turned off and everything become a first come/first served basis, we can not set a limit to how many moves someone makes for a week. So if waivers are turned off, moves are unlimited. Just FYI.

If waivers are turned off, whoever sits in front of their computer on Saturdays is gonna get all the players.

I think we should be encouraging social activity. Not discouraging.
